Put this behind a “Book a table” button on your website, Google Business profile, or Instagram bio — or print the QR code for table tents, the window or flyers. Window poster opens a ready-to-print A4 sign with your QR code for your window or door.
Embed it inside your website
Paste into any “HTML / embed” block (Wix, Squarespace, WordPress…) to show the booking form right on your page.
Restaurant
Shown to guests on your booking page — use the restaurant line if you’d rather not list a mobile.
Address, phone, email and website appear on your booking page with your opening hours — guests find you without phoning. Leave anything blank to hide it.
Optional. Paste your Google Business Profile (your Google Maps listing) link — it helps guests find you on Google, and it's what we'll use to connect you to "Reserve with Google" in future. Don't have one yet?
Your booking page
These show on your public booking page — the page guests land on when you share your link.
A photo of your restaurant or a signature dish — it becomes the preview picture when your booking link is shared on Google, WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook, so the link shows your restaurant, not a blank card. (It no longer appears on the booking page itself.)
Link to your menu or upload a PDF if it isn’t online anywhere. Either one adds a “View our menu” button to your booking page.
If you add both a link and a PDF, the link is used.
Anything guests should know — parking, dress code, house rules, how long you hold a table. It shows in four places: on your booking page, on the booking confirmation screen, in both the confirmation and reminder emails, and your AI assistant uses it to answer guest questions. (Kept out of text reminders, which stay short.) Put each note on its own line and it appears as a tidy list.
Booking rules
Bigger parties are asked to phone you instead. Your own dashboard can always add bookings regardless of notice or how far ahead.
Protects your kitchen: once this many guests are booked to arrive within a window, your booking page hides that slot. Leave it Off (or the cap blank) to disable. Your own dashboard can always overbook.
Opening hours
Turn this on only if you close in between — guests can't book the gap. Most venues leave it off.
Holidays & closures
Applies immediately when you tap the button — not part of “Save changes”.
Going away? Close a date range in advance — guests can't book those days online or with the AI assistant. Existing bookings in the range are not cancelled and no guest is contacted automatically — open Bookings for those dates to see who is booked and contact them yourself.
Emergency: close today
Applies immediately when you confirm — not part of “Save changes”.
Something has happened and you cannot open today. This stops new bookings on every channel. Bookings already on the books are not cancelled and no guest is contacted automatically — open Bookings for that date to see who is booked and contact them yourself.
Tables
Table combinations
Push tables together for bigger parties — bookings use them automatically when no single table fits, and every joined table is blocked for the duration.
Room layout
Drag the tables to match your dining room — the Floor tab uses this layout live during service. Got more than one space? Hit + Add room for an upstairs, garden or private room — each gets its own plan, and a Room column appears in the table list above to assign them. Positions save with Save changes. Zone vs room: a zone is just a label on one table (“Window”, “Bar”); a room is a whole separate space with its own plan and seating order — only add rooms if you genuinely have more than one space. Table shapes, rotation and décor fixtures (door, bar, kitchen…) aren’t editable in this service view yet — they are drawn here exactly as they were set, and dragging never changes them.
No-show Shield — card-secured no-show fees
For bigger, higher-risk bookings, guests securely save a card when they book (nothing is charged). If they no-show, you'd charge a fair, capped fee with one tap. TableTango takes 0%; payouts go straight to your own bank, powered by Stripe.
Available by request. Card-secured no-show fees and deposits are switched on venue-by-venue. Ask below and TableTango will review it — nothing changes on your booking page until you've been granted access, connected your own bank with Stripe, and switched a policy on yourself.
✓ Request received . TableTango will review it — this doesn't promise approval, and nothing is switched on. You'll see the next step here once access is granted.
Card-secured bookings
Bookings where the guest saved a card to hold the table — nothing is charged unless they no-show.
No-show Shield
For bigger, higher-risk bookings, guests securely save a card when they book (nothing is charged). If they no-show, you'd charge a fair, capped fee with one tap. TableTango takes 0% — payouts go straight to your bank, powered by Stripe. Off by default.
A booking only ever has one payment step, and a deposit comes first. If you also run Deposits and a booking is covered by both, that guest pays a deposit instead — no card is held and no no-show fee is charged. Running both isn't belt-and-braces; each booking gets whichever applies to it.
Checking your payments state…
✅ Bank connected. You're all set — switch No-show Shield on at the bottom whenever you're ready.
No fee is charged for cancelling, whenever it happens — this setting does not change that. It only sets when the booking page stops telling guests cancellation is still free.

Deposits & prepayment
Take a small deposit (or full prepayment) when guests book — it also helps secure your bigger covers. Paid securely at booking; TableTango takes 0%, the money goes straight to your bank (Stripe, the same connection as No-show Shield). Off by default. (Event pre-orders are set per-event in the Events card at the bottom of this tab.)
A booking only ever has one payment step, and the deposit comes first. If a booking is covered by both this and No-show Shield, the guest pays a deposit and is never also charged a no-show fee — your cover there is this policy's refund rule. Add-ons aren't offered on it either.

Booking add-ons
Let guests add a few extras when they book — a birthday cake, a bottle of fizz, a set-menu deposit — paid securely at the moment they book. TableTango takes 0%; the money goes straight to your bank, powered by Stripe (the same connection as No-show Shield). Off by default.
A booking only ever has one payment step, and add-ons come last. They aren't offered on a booking that takes a deposit or has a card held by No-show Shield — so if either covers most of your bookings, expect few add-on sales on those.
On the roadmap — not available yet. Booking add-ons aren't live for any venue, so there's nothing to switch on today; when they launch you'll connect your bank here to build your list.

What your guests see
Events
Tasting nights, set menus, special evenings — guests book them straight from your page (they pay on the night; 0% platform fee). Event bookings appear in your bookings like any other.
Staff protection & PINs
Saves with its own buttons — not part of “Save changes”.
Give each team member their own 4-digit PIN. With PINs on, the few actions that can disrupt service — emergency-closing the day, reopening, saving these settings and signing out — ask for a PIN, and every refund, charge or waived fee records which staff member did it. Everyday service (seating guests, reminders, adding a walk-in) never asks. Only you can add or remove PINs, using your account password. A PIN is a quick floor check, like a till code — a deterrent and a record, not a password; anyone who knows a PIN can act as that person.
Support access
Saves with its own button — not part of “Save changes”.
If you ask us for help, a member of the TableTango team can open a read-only view of your venue for a short time — they can look, they cannot change anything, and guest names, phone numbers and emails stay partly hidden. Every time it happens it is listed here, with the reason they gave. You can end it yourself at any moment.
Notifications
Get told about bookings without keeping this open. These go to your owner email (your account email) — included in your plan, and never texted so nothing costs you.
Changes only go live once you tap Save.
